Why did you decide to attend boarding school in the U.S.A.?

Because living on campus, not only you get more contact with other students from other countries, but you can receive more help from teachers. Also you live a more steady schedule rather than when you are home.

How did you choose your school?

It’s on a mountain, which has great environment, and it is not very far away from the city. It p;rsquo;s only a train ride away. The Storm King School is a small boarding school, so it will have a better teacher to student ratio.

What do you like best about studying here?

What I like best about studying here is the easy access to help in everything, personal life, school work, friendship/relationship. Most important is the academic help, there is always a teacher to help you and push you.

What do you miss most?

The thing I miss most is the food! American food is not really my style.

How has your English improved?

My English has improved a lot because of the small community we have here, and every domestic student here is willing to talk to the international students. The Storm King School gives all a great curriculum so that we will be prepared for University.

How have you handled language differences?

Speaking English all the time, I can get better at the common language. And also a roommate that’s a native English speaker.

What are your activities?

School has a variety of clubs and sports. When on holiday the school takes care of our transportation out of school and getting back. Also on weekends the school provides trips to places like movies, the mall and many other trips.

What will you remember most?

The thing I will remember most is the friends I made here and how easy you can be successful here.

What is your advice to other students who are considering studying in the U.S.A?

It is a great thing to do. Even though it might be expensive but as long as your parents are able to afford it, it is a good option to think about. The education system here is a lot better than back home and you get a chance to see the world and other people.
